Ivy slept a record 12 hours straight last night, drools like you woudn't believe, goos and ga's all day long and is just the most perfect baby. We are in a great routine and it's lovely. I couldn't be happier.......xx

Another scrapbooking challenge over at Stampamemory and it's a tricky one.
Scrapbook a photo that is over 10 years old.
I found this hard but a fun challenge all the same.
These photos are actually over 20 years old. Here is me and my baby brother Oliver, posing for my dad. I loved rollerskating in those days and practically lived in my skates.
I am excited to say I used the new Botanical Gazette Designer Series Paperand co-orinating stamp set Nature Walk from the new AUTUMN/ WINTER MINI CATALOGUE. It took me longer than normal ... I think it's because I am not used to the light de-stressed look in the paper. But I am finally happy with it.

It's been along time I know... I forgot how having a newborn really takes up so much time not to mention everything else.... Here is a photo update... our little Miss Ivy is 7 weeks old tomorrow, can you believe it??!!

The months of waiting and with 5 hours of labour she has arrived to complete our family.

You suprised us all by holding your head up off my shoulder at 2 days.
This was yesterday...our kids... could it get any better.....
Life has opened a new chapter...I can't wait to read it!

Well with February being the month of LOVE, we thought scrapbooking with RED would be appropriate. I don't often focus on red in my pages but have really enjoyed doing so, because it's such a strong, vibrant colour.
Here's my take...

I love how you can create all these different hearts with our punches and die cuts.

We are over half way thru Summer school holidays here in Victoria and I can offically say I am slowly going crazy, it doesn't help I am 10 days from the due date with baby number 3.
This my self portrait today 19 th of Jan.
Ashton started the school holidays with a little camping trip to Bear Gully, as the last day of school was his 7th birthday...we thought a little two night trip away with a friend would be better than having a party...the boys did not want to come home I've been told....
Xmas came and gone so quickly, but was the best by far...Jasmine was sick the day before and didn't move from here....
Luckly she was fine the next morning. We all loved having my brother Jonas with us this year, it was very special!
We visted the Melbourne Aquarium with good friends on the Boxing day holiday, which was busy but a great place to visit....a thing a really wanted to do before I had to push a pram around.
Jasmine helped her daddy paint the beginnings of a new fence with oil...very messy job!
We had swimming at the beginning of the January for a week...and the water was freezing in the outdoor pool but Ashton still wanted to go.
We went up to Ballarat and visited Sovereign Hill...it was the first time for myself and the kids and a great day.

And the hit of the day, gold panning... the boys couldn't get enough!!
I've had a couple of appointments with the doctor...he said he will wait 5-7 days days after my due date to induce (like with Jaz) but ofcourse it's right on the time school/swimming/kinder goes back...joy! So hopefully she will arrive before then.
I had my good friend Ros visit with 3 of her kiddies for a sleep over.. and found out both our oldest are as stubborn as eachother haha.
The peaceful moment where they all sat down and did playdough.
Bryan and his apprenctice enjoyed a game or two of Mario Kart with Ashton at knock off time.
And finally I got myself a spunky new SLP Canon 550D camera... there ain't words to describe the joy of this.... the photos are so amazing. Here is a funny one of Jaz just being Jaz.

School and kinder has ended for the year and we are in full swing for many weeks of holidays. No we aren't going anywhere as I am due to have baby number 3 in 6 weeks...that thought is scary in itself...it's been awhile since there has been a baby in this household...Jasmine is 4 and a half now and my boy Ashton turned 7 yesterday...yes it's hard to believe we have a 7 year old now. The boys are off camping this weekend @ Bear Gully in lou of having a party...I think it's better for everyone. One, I don't have to stress about anything and Two, Ashton, Dad and Jarrah (Ashton's friend) will have a ball...more than a party could ever bring.
With Ashton going to a small school (all of 64 students) he had the entire school sing "happy birthday" to him at Monday school assembly. I just loved to seeing his face..
After the song, he climbed up on the railing and crowed like a rooster in line with school tradition.
We also just had my mother in law, whom I adore come stay with us for two weeks. It truly flew past but she was able to see many important things in such a short time. The putting up of the Christmas tree, the kids swimming lessons, Jasmine's last day of 3 year old kinder, Ashton's end of year concert, my scary speech in front of 100 people for P and F, Bryan's boardwalk opening in Pioneer Bay and Ashton's birthday crow. I miss her as soon as she leaves and truly hope that one day she can live closer to us.
The last three weekends, Jasmine has had a birthday party to attend to. She has a busier social life than I do...haha. So I have been making cards...... here is one of them
