Hello Everyone,
Here's a layout for you which shows you quite a clean & crisp style of scrapbooking. This page has a more structured format and works well when all the sections are centred & balanced. The subject of my layout is my Liam and his love of bugs! Such a boy! Enjoy.
Journalling:
My gorgeous Liam – you are such a BUG MAGNET! You are 7 years old in this photo and you have, once again, found another bug in the garden to explore. Bugs just seem to gravitate towards you and I just love seeing your fascination with them. It’s so cool how you just jump right in there and pick them up and care for them as though they are your friends. You are such a sweet, nurturing soul. You amaze me and you tug at my heart strings - Mummy xox
How I created the Scalloped Boarder:
To create the scalloped boarder I used a 12 x 12" Textured Sheet of Real Red card stock, a pencil, a pair of paper snips and the Scalloped Square Chipboard cut out from the On Board Batch of Blooms pack. I used the edge of the chipboard shape to trace the shape I wanted. I had to move it along the page on all four sides to obtain the extra length I needed to fit the 10 x 1o" Whisper White centre section. When I had the desired shape I then carefully cut around the scallops. Voila! One scalloped page boarder done!

Beautiful layout Di, I love this style of scrapbooking .... and I wondered how you achieved the scallop edged page border - I was scouring through the catalogue after the last one you did wondering how I had missed that! Thanks for explaining - off to add more On Board goodies to my next order :o)
