Today I have another boys layout to show you. This one is 8" x 8" in size; I enjoy breaking up my 12" x 12" scrapbooking with this sweeter size from time to time. This layout is of my gorgeous Liam doing one of his favourite things.....drawing. Although this photo was taken last year, I have also decided to pop a little piece of art work with it, that Liam drew for me a few days ago. I LOVE his little drawings, especially the ones full of love hearts and our family.
Close up on Detail
Products I have used in this layout:
- Stamp Sets: Simple Serif Alphabet & Numbers
- Ink Colours: Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Baja Breeze (Sponge Daubing), Sahara Sand (Sponge Daubing)
- Card Stock: Kraft, Pacific Point, Confetti White
- Designer Series Paper: Holiday Treasures, Baja Breeze Patterns, Urban Garden
- Simply Scrappin' Kit: Petal Party
- Embellishments: NEW Soho Designer Hardware, On Board Loads of Letters Chipboard, Hemp Twine
- Punches: Corner Rounder, Crop-a-dile, Spiral
So this week I encourage you to enjoy your children's drawings and try adding them to a scrapbook page or two - they will be priceless to look back on in later years.

Never tried 8 x 8 layouts - this one is great. I really love the new designer hardware - must add them onto my 'must have' list. Great idea using a piece of original artwork - I have lots and lots of those ... will have to dig one out. Thanks for the inspiration.

I Love this Di. I tucked that bunting flag idea away to use on a LO and seeing it on yours has reminded me how cool it looks. I must use it soon. The soho hardware looks fab too! Jillx

I really love this layout. It is simple but has lots of interest and focal points. Liam looks adorable by the way! I think that's one of the most beautiful things about scrapbooking - thinking about how wonderful it will be to have such personal milestones as keepsakes for years to come, all handmade by mum!
