Where do you get your inspiration from for your scrapbooking layouts?
I have found over the years that I have been scrapbooking, that titles come to me whilst I am actually taking photos .... not difficult really considering I am always behind the lens but I often visualise my page before I have even taken the photos!
I have just returned from Raymond Island (near Paynesville in Victoria) where I took over 450 photos (I know just a little obsessive - we were only there for four days), such a beautiful place and being an early riser I am often lucky enough to see the sunrise. This was the sunrise that I captured on Easter Sunday - and this was the view from our little house that we shared with our friends - perfect :o)
I used a 12 x 12 Very Vanilla piece of cardstock and matched the photos up so that the scene reached from one side to the other.
I then stamped Pocket Silhouettes in Chocolate Chip along the edge of the cardstock - overlapping the photos .... and covering the stalks with a piece of Twill and Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.
The title Inspire is from the Life Definitions set ... and I have matched the sentiment with a letter from the Defining Alphabet (both on page 123 of the IB&C)
I've finished off with three brads from the Jumbo Brads 5/16" Neutrals Assortment range - yes these are still available along with a few of the other lovely products from both the Spring and Summer Minis. To view the new Carryover flyer click here.

How beautiful is this page! I love how you have used the 'inspire' stamp to create the title and the way you have overstamped the photos. Just gorgeous.

Lovely, my friend! Such a serene setting - no wonder you love it there. I do think 450 photos is a teensy bit obsessive, though! I love your title (all the earthy colours, and those beautiful stamps).

I love all the stamping you have done. It reminds me of the grasses at the beach. Such an awesome layout Nikki
