Hello Everyone! I am very excited to be a new member of the Stamp A Memory Design Team! Thank you so much girls for inviting me to be a part of your team! My name is Lynn Powell and I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in York, Western Australia,
For my very first post, I would like to share with you a christmas layout created for a children's scrapping workshop:
It is a very quick and easy layout to create and what's more, it take's advantage of any scraps of paper you may have laying around! For this layout, I have used strips of Jolly Holiday DSP layered onto Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and also used the rubons from the matching Jolly Holiday rubons pack.
Here is a close-up of the flower on the layout:
These flowers are so easy to create and I think they look very effective. They were created using the Island Floral Bigz Die (from the Summer Mini catalogue). Each flower was then run through the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (so love that folder!), scrunched up, layered together and then spritzed with Smooch Spritz. (All three of these products are available in the Summer Mini Catalogue).
Ingredients Used:
- Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake cardstock
- Extreme Elements Stamp Set
- Jolly Holiday DSP
- Holly & Jolly and Vintage Type Rubons
- Onboard Alphabet Soup, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestones, Build A Brad
- Early Espresso Ink, Smooch Spritz
- Island Floral Bigz Die, Merry Details Sizzlet Die, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Bigshot
Have a great day & thanks for looking!
Lynn Powell

That is a awesome layout Lynn, I love all the stamping and texture, especially with that stunning flower.

What a brilliant layout Lynn - love the flowers - what a great idea to run them through an embellishment folder after they have been cut ... looks great. Welcome to the team - looking forward to seeing more of your layouts.
