Last month I showed you my first December 2010 layout, and this month I am continuing to share a little more.
These two pages are the simple but hold information that I would not remember years later without these pages. December 2 is all about the massive rainfall we had right on school pick up time (in Melbourne). My kids arrived home soaked and were dripping their way through the house. After seeing my kids so wet I got them out of their uniforms and into the shower straight away as they were freezing and didn't stop to take a photo. I recreated the photo shown on a day after school when it was far warmer by spraying them with the house. They loved it as it was out of the norm for me.
December 3 is all about the uniform shop having a % off sale and buying uniform for my soon to be Prep student. I scanned the receipt and the uniform price list and slipped them into the page. In years to come I will be able to pull the price list out to compare the changes in $ over the years.
Materials list:
Stamps: Full calender, calender alphabet and numbers
Inkpads: Crumb cake, bashful blue, marina mist, always artichoke, cherry cobbler
Cardstock: Marina mist, cherry cobber, very vanilla, bashful blue, whisper white, crumb cake, always artichoke
Punches: Round tab punch
Accessories: Holly jolly designer series paper, timeless type alphabet, big shot machine, merry sizzlets die
Other: Twine, dymo labeller, label of school uniform

What a great memory to have! Love the photos and what a fantastic idea to record such precious memories - who wouldnt enjoy playing with water!

I do that too Ros as the story is more important than the photo..but its nice to have a photo to go with it. Love it..its these sort of pages that made me take up scrapbooking.
