I have been so busy over the past week gardening every.single.day that I forgot to make up my page for this month. However, our front garden is looking pretty good.
So..... I'm sharing a page I made a few years back. Five years ago today, our beloved Ellie dog passed away from a freak accident. She was a beautiful girl who loved to lie underneath our front porch and scare away those door-to-door electricity salespeople :-) This page was created for a class I held based on rub-ons, though you can quite easily recreate it using stamps instead. The layout is from a PageMaps sketch.
Stamps: Priceless, Wonderful Favourites, Typeset Alphabet lowercase (retired)
Paper: Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa (retired, could easily substitute Soft Suede), Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Berry Bliss DSP (also retired, though the Neutral Prints or Elegant Soiree would give the same effect).
Ink: Close to Cocoa (retired, sub Soft Suede)
Other: Chipboard accents, Hodepodge Hardware, Corner Rounder (for the scallop edge, long before we had the punch!), rub-ons.
