I am very excited to say we have four new designers join the Stamp-a-memory Team.
They are all so talented in the art of scrapbooking. I am sure you will be inspired and want to get out your own Stampin' Up! supplies and play along.

I was introduced to stamping by a friend about 12 years ago and to scrapping about a year after that. I wasn’t too keen on the idea of scrapbooking at first as stamping was my main interest, but after my first camp I was hooked! Then I came across Stampin’ Up! in a magazine in 2006 and fell in love with their products so I signed up as a demonstrator – just to be able to get my hands on all those goodies! Since then I have met so many lovely people along the way and I love being able to share my passion with anyone who will listen.
Can you show us a favourite layout?
My favourite Stampin’ Up! layout is one of my partner and myself. It’s very rare to have a photo of the two of us together and I really love how this one came together.
How would you describe your scrapbook space?
Up until a month ago, I was scrapping out of a cupboard in my spare room. I have now moved all my stuff out onto the landing outside our bedroom. I have much more room to move around and it is more open and airy. Just need to make sure I keep it tidy LOL!!
What's your favourite Stampin' Up! colour combination for scrapbooking?
Hmm, that’s a hard one! I am really loving the vintage look at the moment, with the red, black and vanilla but I also love pinks & browns. I guess really, I tend to go for the more earthy colour combinations.
Favourite thing to eat or drink when you are scrapbooking?
If I’m scrapping with friends, or at a camp, then I enjoy sipping on a red, otherwise I tend to just drink coffee. I don’t usually eat when I’m scrapping because I’m one of those people who end up with sticky fingermarks or food splatters across my work!!
Who are your main scrapbook subjects?
Friends and family mostly. I like to scrap and document events such as birthdays & holidays that have happened in our lives. I don’t have children of my own, so my nieces and nephews and their families feature a fair bit. Also, I have taken on the role of family historian and researcher so I have a few albums dedicated to our ancestors as well.
How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
Now that is a hard one!! I guess it really depends on the photos I am scrapping as to how the pages turn out. Usually I like to work with double-layouts though, with lots of photos and lots of embellishments. I guess at the moment I am into the rustic, vintage feel.
If I had an uninterrupted weekend of scrapbooking by myself this weekend I would work on ....
We bought our house about 4 years ago now and I have been meaning to document the changes we have made to it over the few years we have been here, so I think a mini album on our house would be my project

I live in the beautiful area of Waiuku, New Zealand with my darling husband, 2 little boys and cats. I moved to New Zealand from England, 10 years ago and now see myself as a Kiwi. I have always enjoyed being creative and have dabbled in various crafts until I was introduced to scrapbooking 6 years ago, and now I am hooked! My scrapbooking is mostly inspired by my 2 beautiful boys and most of my pages are stories about them. I have been on various scrapbooking design teams in NZ and Australia and won a few competitions.
In my teens my Mum introduced me to the art of stamping and since then I have loved getting messy with my inks. Becoming a Stampin’ Up Creative Coach was only natural! For the last 2 years I have been earning money whilst sharing my passion! During this time I have met some of my best friends.
Can you show us a favourite layout?
I love the background of this page created with my favourite stamps En Francais, Baroque Motifs and friends 24/7. The buterfly stamp was embossed in gold and all the flowers hand made. I used On board letter that of course have been stamped! The journal block uses a variety of product including the gorgeous Artistic Etchings and I almost hate that it is hidden!!!
How would you describe your scrapbook space?
My space once was one of my boy’s bedroom but I was out growing our tiny lounge and needed my own space to create and work. It is usually messy, with paper cuttings, paper flowers being made and latest creations cluttering my desk. I have photos of my gorgeous boys surrounding me and all my favourite baby shoes displayed in little nooks and crannies. I am surrounded with stamps, inks and my Stampin’ Write markers sit right next to me!
What's your favourite Stampin' Up! colour combination for scrapbooking?
Oh that is a hard question…I scrap with a variety of colours. Some times I like bright but at the moment I am tending to go with neutrals with a hint of colour. I have to say blue tends to be used on all my pages and Marina Mist is becoming my new favourite shade! So have to say Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Soft Suade, Marina Mist, Rich Razzleberry and Early Espresso.
Favourite thing to eat or drink when you are scrapbooking?
Last week, I would have said a yummy cup of caramel coffee and anything covered in chocolate! This week, well…. I started my healthy new way so I will have to say almonds and an indulgent can of Coke Zero!
Who are your main scrapbook subjects?
My boys Ollie and Keiran. They are my world.
How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
Arty, eclectic with a little shabby chic thrown in! I make my own background papers with my stamps and am known to throw a bit of ink around here and there!!!
If I had an uninterrupted weekend of scrapbooking by myself this weekend I would work on ....
Ooh now that would be bliss but then I never scrap on my own so I would likely have my buddy Tracy with me, be listening to some great 90’s music or Glee if Trace has her way! I would scrap through the night and then have a great sleep in!!!!!
I would be working on a mini album I started a year ago!!! It has white pages with Crumb cake white washed with Craft White ink. It will be adorned with many stamps and photos of my boys, lace, ribbon and no doubt have quite a few Onboard shapes included too. Oh and I have just ordered some antique brads for it too

I’m a mum of three gorgeous girls and have been married to Steve for 11 years. I started scrapbooking ‘properly’ when my eldest was a baby, but I’ve always collected bits and pieces of memorabilia to pop in albums with photos.
Can you show us a favourite layout?
Disney Magic layout featuring photos of our girls’ first visit to Disneyland. I love that the colours are not ‘traditional’ Disney colours, and they perfectly capture the fun we had.
How would you describe your scrapbook space?
In short – a mess! I have taken over part of our lounge room with my supplies, they just keep expanding.
What's your favourite Stampin' Up! colour combination for scrapbooking?
Kraft/Crumb Cake with pretty much anything else.
Favourite thing to eat or drink when you are scrapbooking?
Clinkers and Pepsi.
Who are your main scrapbook subjects?
My girls.
How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
Neat and uncluttered (strangely the opposite to my scrap space…)

Hi! I'm a stay at home mum of 3 gorgeous children. I started scrapbooking in early 2009 after attending a scrapbooking party. I was instantly hooked, and it explained the fascination I've always had with pretty paper. I discovered Stampin' Up! about 6 months after that first party and totally fell in love with the products. It took another 6 months to sign up as a demonstrator and I have loved every moment of being a demonstrator. I try to craft every day after the kids have gone to bed as I find it is a great stress release at the end of my very busy days.
Can you show us a favourite layout?
My favourite layout is 'Kindy Boy'. I love the bright colours in the Celebrations DSP and how well they layer together. The photos are also special - my youngest son Hudson's first day of preschool. I included his bag in the photos as it was also the bag my eldest son Alex used when he went to preschool. Alex gets a real kick about Hudson sharing his things.
How would you describe your scrapbook space?
Small! I have a small section of the loungeroom to work in, but I like it that way. If I had a bigger space I would probably make a bigger mess and it would take longer to clean up. I also like being in a living space because if I get a chance to craft during the day I can still keep an eye on the kids.
What's your favourite Stampin' Up! colour combination for scrapbooking?
I tend to follow the colour combinations in the DSP I am using. I choose the DSP to suit the photos I'm using or the mood I'm trying to convey. I do tend to favour plainer patterns and paper rather than big bold designs.
Favourite thing to eat or drink when you are scrapbooking?
Chocolate!!!!! I especially love crispy m 'n' m's, and I never knock back a hot chocolate when I'm crafting in the evenings.
Who are your main scrapbook subjects?
Like most mums, I mostly scrap my children. But I am making a big effort to scrap about my husband and myself more. I'm even making sure that I am in more photos as I tend to be the one behind the camera.
How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
I tend to have a simple style. I like to focus on telling a story, so I almost always have a title and lots of journalling. I would like to push myself a bit more this year and experiment a lot more with layering, embellishments and stitching.
If I had an uninterrupted weekend of scrapbooking by myself this weekend I would work on ....
I think I'd finish off some of the projects I've had on the go for a while - a weekly album from 2010 and an album of a professional photo session we had in 2009. Then I'd start on the mountain of photos I had printed off yesterday. I don't think I could ever be stuck for something to work on!
Be sure to pop back to see what these ladies and our other Design team have to show you when it comes to scrapbooking with Stampin' Up!
Tanja
